With the recent snowfall, we ask for your help in keeping fire hydrants accessible.

If there is a fire hydrant near your home or property, please make sure it is cleared of snow and ice. Firefighters need quick and easy access in an emergency.

What to do:

• Clear at least 3 feet around all sides of the hydrant
• Remove snow and ice completely from the hydrant
• Clear a path from the hydrant to the street

Doing your part helps first responders do theirs — and could make a critical difference in an emergency.
