🍂 Leaf Pick-Up Ends November 30th
Please be advised that leaf pick-up will end on November 30th. After this date, our trucks will be fitted with road sanders in preparation for winter weather, so please plan accordingly.
To ensure your leaves are collected, have them curbside by Sunday, November 30th.
The Highway Department will make one final pass through the Village on Monday, December 1st.
What if I still have leaves after November 30th?
After November 30th, you may compost your yard waste or bring it to the Town of Washington Transfer Station for disposal. Transfer station passes can be purchased at the Town of Washington Town Hall, 10 Reservoir Drive. For more information, contact the Town Clerk at (845) 677-3419.

❄️ Snow Ordinance Begins December 1st
Beginning December 1st through March 31st, parking is prohibited on all Village streets from 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM. Obstructing snow removal and street cleaning is prohibited. Violators will be ticketed.
Please Note: Article 1219 of the NYS Vehicle & Traffic Law prohibits plowing, shoveling, or blowing snow into a street or highway.
