Please take notice that brush pick-up ends, May 31st. Since this date falls on a Saturday, we will be collecting brush for the last time on Monday, June 2nd.

The highway department is planning on having an additional brush pick-up day during the summer – date TBA. 

If clearing/cleaning natural wooded areas outside of your improved/landscaped areas is a necessity, the property owner shall make other arrangements. You may compost yard waste or bring it to the Town of Washington Transfer Station for disposal. Transfer station passes may be purchased at the Town of Washington Town Hall located at 10 Reservoir Drive. For more information contact the Town Clerk at (845) 677-3419.

The village will still collect brush from storm damage up to (2) weeks after a storm. This does NOT include tree trunks or stumps.
