The Village of Millbrook and Millbrook Police Department in collaboration with The LEAD Program are proud to support the good works of Taking it to the Streets, a not-for-profit, faith-based organization led by Ruth Anderson. Taking it to the Streets offers basic needs like hot meals, clothing, and hygiene products to individuals in Dutchess County. They are celebrating ladies in the month of May and are requesting new or gently used handbags. The handbags will be filled with needed items and will be passed out in the month of May. Donations of new toiletries/hygiene items will also be accepted and appreciated!

Donation Needs:

  • New or Gently Used Handbags/Purses
  • Toothpaste/Toothbrushes
  • Soap
  • Shaving Cream
  • Deodorant
  • Sanitary Napkins
  • Feminine Hygiene Products
  • Make-up Remover Wipes
  • Face Wash/Creams
  • Shampoo/Conditioner
  • Lotions

*** Please note that toiletries and hygiene products must be new/unopened ***
