Overview:
Supervise 2 laborers while providing “hands on” support of dpw duties, including (but not limited to): light mechanical duty, machine operation, snow plowing, brush clearing & leaf removal, ETC.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- PRIORITIZING DEPARTMENT ACTIVITIES
- RESPONDING TO RESIDENT REQUESTS
- COORDINATING CONTRACTOR WORK
- SCHEDULING REPAIRS/ MAINTENANCE
- ORDERING SUPPLIES
Job Requirements:
- RESIDENT OF DUTCHESS COUNTY
- LIGHT MACHINE OPERATION (CDL PREFERRED)
- BASIC COMPUTER SKILLS- EMAIL, WORD, EXCEL, ETC.
- BUDGETING APTITUDE
- BACKGROUND & DRUG SCREENING
Compensation:
This is a Full Time position – $35/ Hour – Plus Benefits & NYS Retirement
