Due to the Parade of Lights on Friday, December 5, 2025, there will be NO PARKING along Franklin Avenue from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Additionally, there will be NO THRU TRAFFIC after 5:30 PM:

From the Bennett Light to Franklin Avenue

From Route 44 to Franklin Avenue (near the Gatehouse)
LINE-UP
Parade line-up begins at 4:30 PM in front of Most Physical Therapy and continues back toward the Bennett Light.
ROUTE
The parade will travel up Franklin Avenue and conclude at the Thorne Building.
Floats may exit either straight out to Route 44 or via Merritt Avenue.
“Silent Night” QUIET AREA
A dedicated quiet viewing area will be available for young children and individuals with sensory needs.
This space will remain free of sirens and loud noises, offering a calm and comfortable experience.
Based on community feedback, the quiet area has been moved to the very beginning of the route, at the corner of Franklin Ave and Front St, near the parade line-up. Look for signs marking this area.
