VILLAGE OF MILLBROOK – NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM – 2026 APPLICATION

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Village of Millbrook will hold a public hearing on February 25, 2026, at 6 p.m., at Village Hall, 35 Merritt Avenue, Millbrook, New York, to obtain citizen views and to respond to proposals and questions concerning the Village’s proposed 2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application.

The Village has received notification from the Dutchess County Department of Planning & Development that its Letter of Intent has been approved to proceed with submission of a full application for 2026 CDBG funding. The Community Development Block Grant Program is administered by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and provides funding to develop viable communities by providing decent housing, a suitable living environment, and expanding economic opportunities, principally for persons of low- and moderate-income.

The Village of Millbrook intends to submit an application for funding to complete ADA accessibility improvements at the Village Police Department in order to enhance public access to the facility.

The hearing will provide further information about the CDBG Program and will allow for public comment on the proposed project and community development needs within the Village. Written comments may be submitted to the Village Clerk at Village Hall, 35 Merritt Avenue, Millbrook, New York 12545, prior to or at the public hearing.
