Calling all scarecrow creators! Dust off your overalls and get creative!

Saturday, September 20th

9:00 am – 10:00 am: Scarecrow Setup (location will be assigned the week before)
1:00 pm: Judging Begins
2:00 pm: Winners Announced

Rules:

• Free-Standing: Scarecrows should be able to stand on their own or with minimal support.
• No store-bought scarecrows.
• Scarecrows must be able to fit in a 6′ x 6′ footprint once assembled. Stands available upon request.
• Entries deemed political, not family friendly, or not in the good-natured spirit will be removed.
• Entrants are responsible for setup.

Judging Criteria:

• Creativity: Unique, Original Concept, New Idea, Does the Scarecrow Tell a Story?
• Design: Technique, Materials Used (Recycled Materials Are Strongly Encouraged)
• Durability
