On June 16, 2024 New York State Police responded to a residence on Reservoir Drive for a reported disturbance. The resident reports, while outside doing yard work, a male subject entered her property and engaged her in conversation. The subject introduced himself and began asking strange questions and making the resident feel intimidated by his presence. A few minutes later the subject left the property of his own volition. State Police contacted Mayor Collopy advising him of the situation. 

 

Village of Millbrook Police, with the assistance of NYSP, have identified the man as a subject recently arrested for vandalizing a nearby apartment complex. Village of Millbrook Police are aware of the subject’s connection to the Village and are monitoring the situation while keeping in contact with the State Police.
