Community Day Schedule of Events

Community Day is this Saturday, October 7th!
RAIN OR SHINE! 

**The Village Hall (located on Merritt Ave.) and the Millbrook Library will be hosting most events on Community Day. Please come support this wonderful community many of us call home. 

9 am – 1 pm

  • Farmers and Makers Market – Located on Church Street
  • The Burr Johnson Band performing from 11 am – 1 pm

9 am – 11 am

  • FORZA Family Fitness Carnival 9am-11am. Fitness demonstrations, kid’s games/crafts, popcorn, balloons and selfie spots! Fun for the whole family!

9 am – 5 pm

  • Merritt Bookstore: Join us for Community Day at Merritt Bookstore, where you can always dive into a treasure trove of fantastic books and toys. We’ll have book-related giveaways for kids, and a special sale on outdoor beach and pool toys! Make your day complete by supporting us, your local bookstore!
  • J.McLaughlin: The Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse, who are based in Arlington are being hosted by J.McLaughlin. 15% of every purchase goes to help abused children.
  • Juniper: Annual cash and carry sale! It only happens once a year so do not miss it! Remember the holidays are just around the corner. Located at Village Hall if raining!
  • Joseph Velletri’s Sons, Inc.: Sale on paint, rugs and more!
  • Tyte Medispa: One day community day special – 10% off all products, Hydrafacial $25 off, Skin Better Peel $25 off and Dermaplane w/Enzyme $95
  • Alicia Adams Alpaca: A kids station, with coloring activities and a design your own alpaca sticker activity. Plus 2 raffles, one for adults and one for children. Stations for customers to get a chance to win a baby toy alpaca or a discount for in store/ day only purchase. 15% of all proceeds to the breast cancer organization nbcf.org 

10 am – 2 pm

  • Millbrook Library – Ice Cream Truck – FREE
  • Millbrook Library – Friends of the Library will be serving Apple Cider and Donuts (While Supplies Last)
  • Back in Time Wood Products – Library Lawn
  • Fashion Feeds – Created in 2013 as a way to give to The Food of Life Food Pantry. To date Fashion Feeds Food Pantry has raised over $50,000 in support, and will be stationed all day in front of Corcoran Real Estate.
  • Millbrook Deli – Street Nibbles
  • Grace Church – Face Painting at the Village Hall
  • Dutchess County Health and Wellness – Wellness Checks, Education & Training for CPR, AED and Narcan plus Blood Pressure Checks – Village Hall
  • Central Baptist Church – Fried Chicken on G.T. Whalen Real Estate Lawn
  • Village Hall – will have a bouncy house, face painting and sand art for the kids!

10:30 am

  • Library Lawn: Ukulele Performance by Millbrook Elementary

11 am – 12 pm

  • Millbrook Library: Bubble Bus for Kids – Cancelation possible due to weather

12 :30 pm – 1 :30 pm

  • Millbrook Library: Pumpkin Painting for Kids

1 pm – 3 pm

  • Millbrook Antique Center: Live Music – featuring Paul Pesco

3 pm – 6 pm @ Village Hall

  • Chili Cook off Starts – Judging and Tasting
  • 50/50 Raffle – Cash only
  • Cake Walk Begins – Cash Only
  • Distillery Tastings
  • Hudson Valley Hatchet – Axe Throwing – Cancelation possible due to weather
  • Music – DJ John McDonald
