Fire Hydrant Replacement: Maple Ave

On Thursday, September 24th VRI will be replacing a fire hydrant on Maple Ave. The work is planned to be done between 9 am and 4 pm. In order to accomplish this work safely the water will need to be shut down for a period of time. The water shut down will be minimized as much as possible. The water shut down will ONLY affect residents on the following roads: Maple Avenue from Merritt Ave to Haight Ave. After the work is completed the water may be dirty for a short period. Emergency Alert 09-28-2023: A water main break has occurred on COUNTY HOUSE RD on Thursday Sept 28th. Our water department crew is on location making repairs. Please note that the water will need to be shut off in order to make repairs and should take a few hours to complete. This ONLY EFFECTS residents on County House Road, Oak Summit Road, Maple Hill Drive & Old Route 82. Questions? Please call VRI @ 845-677-3839. We appreciate your patience as we conduct the repairs.
